I’ve always been a firm believer in cleanses, but I was truly skeptical of a lot of the methods I saw my friends trying, like juice cleanses. Hello? Do you know how much SUGAR is in your so-called cleanse? Sadly, most don’t. So I’ve always sort of gone about it my own way. Until last month, that is. Last month I took a leap of faith and it was such a great decision!
So the quick version of the cleanse is, normal, whole foods, with three drinks throughout the day. Sounds easy, right? It was. I never felt deprived. I never felt tired. But what I did feel was like I was hitting the reset button on my system.
I set my expectations very low going into this. I didn’t plan on losing any weight or seeing a difference, but I DID do the measurements and photos before juuuust incase. At the end of day three, my mind was completely BLOWN. I was down 4.7 lbs and could see real results in my before and after.
I wish I hadn’t waited to try this. I wish I had known about this before I needed to get into a dress or go to something I wanted to feel AMAZING for. Heck, I wish I had known about this just so I could periodically hit restart on my body!
