It was a warm summer night in the in June of 1987… Okay, I guess we don’t have to go back that far! But my journey has certainly been a long unsteady one, filled with poor body image, crash diets, emotional eating and self-doubt.
Fast forward to 2010 and suddenly my whole world shifted. I met the most incredible man and so, we started a beautiful life together. After having been blessed with the most precious baby boy, I got on the scale and saw an extra 50 pounds staring back at me. I knew that it was time to refocus some of my time and attention on myself. I needed to work on my mind and my body, not only for myself, but so that I could be the best mother and wife for my family. I found a community of women and a program which helped me to transform my postpartum body, losing all of my baby weight and then some, and fall in love with who I am and what I’m capable of.
While on my journey, I fell in love with health and fitness and truly found my calling. Since that day, I made it my mission to help other women do the same. I created Become Your Dream, a place where anything you can dream, you can achieve. I was given a beautiful gift in this life and I intend to pay it forward as many times over as I can.
